New Forest

The three choirs were created by Alison Russell-Hayward. Alison's previous roles include: Former Principal Royal Ballet School, London; Director of London Theatre/Dance Company; Professional dancer & Choreographer and Recording Session Singer.

As well as directing the New Forest Children's Choir, Training Choir and Chamber Choir, she is currently involved in the following: Executive Producer/Director/Choreographer/Consultant for dance, theatre, TV & Film; singing coach & vocal soloist and Director 'STAR' Dance & Singing Club.

As Musical Director and Conductor of the choirs she brings a wealth of experience as well as fun and a winning way with the children. The choir is accompanied by Doug Gould.

The choirs rehearse at The Regent Centre in Christchurch every Wednesday afternoon.

They compete in local and national competitions and perform at local charitable events.
